4K or Ultra HD Televisions
Samsung’s amazing S9 Ultra HD delivers an incredible new design. The 85-inch is supported by a new frame design with speakers around the side that can be positioned to suit you.
Glasses-free 3D in Ultra HD TV
Even though this 60 inch TV is a prototype, it should be available shortly and the 4K set provides the technology to prove the ability for 3D without glasses.
There are 10-12 optimal positions to sit in a room and have your sweetspot in 3D. 3D can be seen from angles up to 120-degrees in from of the TV.
Let’s be flexible with a curved OLED TV
Samsung’s curved OLED TV provides an ‘IMAX-like’ experience. OLED TVs provide better colors and contrast, among other benefits, and the new Samsung TV’s curved form factor adds yet more improvements. The curved form of the new OLED display also creates a greater range of viewing angles, enabling viewers sitting on either side of the TV to see more of the screen.
The future…8K television
The TV is just a prototype but its imagery is spectacular. With a resolution of 7,680 x 4,320. There are only one or two 8K cameras in the world right now, so content is very limited, but something to watch out for over the next few years.
